May is Older Americans Month

In 1963, President John F. Kennedy dedicated the month of May as Senior Citizens Month.

In 1980, President Jimmy Carter renamed it Older Americans Month.

All over the country, there is public recognition for those 65 years and older with special events.

Local libraries offer health information, physical activities, computer classes and socials.
Administration for Community Living has the inspiring 2019 theme of Connect, Create and Contribute. This is an unusually important message in order to combat isolation and loneliness often found in the senior community.

I created an animated video for the mature homeseller or anyone seeking to better understand their concerns.  
It's 1 1/2 minutes in length (honestly, who's got time for anything more?) However, it was actually a couple of years in the making as I would often sit and talk with older homeowners and I began to see a pattern in the sentiments they expressed.  
My wish was to use a modern and, hopefully, fun medium to reflect their hopes, joys and fears.
