brevard county mortgages: is it just me, or is this just wrong? - 07/09/13 09:41 PM
Okay this has been bothering me for awhile, and I guess the first reason is it's unnecessary.
what is it? you may ask.
I keep getting solicitation for employment through avenues provided to me by my current employer, and frankly I don't like it.
First, let me say that as an experienced loan officer, I'm going to get solicited, as do most experienced mortgage lenders. Apparently there's just not enough of us who have made it through the tough times.
Now here's the part I don't like.
I work for the American Eagle Mortgage Co, and they provide me with certain … (5 comments)

brevard county mortgages: Homepath; a truly misunderstood program (with great benefits) - 07/05/13 10:28 PM
Okay I'm going to establish some parameters here, because there's more to this program than I'm going to discuss
Im going to look at this through the eyes of the first time homebuyer, or somebody buying the property as their primary residence.
and I'm going to compare it to FHA in most cases, also remember this is a program exclusively for FNMA foreclosures, and personally I like what they've done.

two questions;
did you, or do you believe that the fed will continue to put $85 billion a month into the mortgage markets?
the answers obvious now
did you, or do you think the … (4 comments)

brevard county mortgages: to dispute, or not to dispute...that is the question - 12/26/12 10:24 PM
these days when I pull a credit bureau and see disputed accounts I cringe.
Boy, how things have changed.
It used to be that if a consumer had a disagreement with a creditor as to how their account was being reported, that they were encouraged to send a written dispute both to the creditor and the credit bureau.
that may not be a good idea right now, plus if a consumer has disputed accounts on their credit bureau they may be problematic, if they are applying for an FHA loan.
let me share some guidelines that I acquired from one of … (4 comments)

brevard county mortgages: Help is on the way for First Time Homebuyers (in Brevard, Indian River, and St. Lucie Counties) - 10/20/12 01:21 AM
Well, actually it's already available, but the question is do the buyers know this?
first of all, let's make clear, who is, and isn't, a first time homebuyer.
by definition a first time homebuyer is someone who has not owned a home in the previous 3 years.
I'd also like to note that in the case of the Florida Housing Finance Corp. that Veterans may qualify for exceptions to this quideline.
Who is the Florida Housing Finance Corporation? you may ask, and I'm glad you did.
In my opinion, for what it's worth, the Florida Bond Program, administered by the Florida … (3 comments)
