Just a Halloween wish from my favorite ghost. From a handsome fellow I captured with my thermal camera. Not that there's much, um, thermal to this guy. He looks pretty cold to me. In fact, when I entered the room and captured him with my camera, he was to my left, and I felt the cold from exactly that direction. Looking at him I had to wonder - Yikes, who does his hair? Finishing up my last appointment of the day, I found myself only a couple of blocks from the very old Warrenton VA Cemetery. Knowing that Colonel John S. Mosby is buried there, I paid a visit. It was a gray day. So visiting the grave of "The Gray Ghost" seemed appropriate! Having no idea where to go, I headed for the largest marker in the park. I know all of you go Trick or Treating with your thermal infrared cameras, don't you? For sure, I know I do! Every year. Nothing sets off the special event like a bunch of thermal images... Mosby seems to follow me around. Obviously I am only able to see him when I break out the Infrared Camera. And he brought a friend again! He seems very popular where he is, and wants me to know it. In life, after the Civil War, Colonel J. S. Mosby, if that's who this is, lived in Kentucky after the war and worked as a lawyer. He married a young lady named Mariah Pauline Clarke, known as "Pauline." While I am not sure who his friend is this time, I am going to call her Pauline!
