It may be a year away but the pollsters have been watching the likely outcome of the Florida Governors race for some time. Today it as announced that Republican candidate Bill McCollum has a double digit lead over the Democratic candidate Alex Sink. In June McCollum had an 8 point lead. As of today it was 11 points. McCollum leading Sink 46% to 35%. Five percent (5%) favor another candidate, and 15% are undecided. McCollum leads by 14 points among men and by eight among women.
