Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) Louisiana made no pretense that she held out for a pay off in exchange for her vote on Health Care Saturday. The price tag was $300 million in Medicaid funds for her state. To secure her yes vote Harry Reid added a provision in the bill allocating the $300 million. Maybe I don't understand math, but doesn't that add to the total of the package? Did the CBO factor in all these sweetheart deals when they figured out the cost of health care? She is proud that she asked for the money and got it. Mary … (19 comments)
