The generation born between the early 80s and just after the turn of the century (aka Millennials) have been slower to take the first steps toward home ownership than previous generations. That’s likely one of the byproducts of the cultural and economic shifts which have combined to make real estate less affordable (and proportionately less appealing). While there is no denying that lately it’s been a difficult environment for many Millennials to jump into the real estate market in the Greater Philadelphia area, there are still plenty of young people who would like to buy a home.

Sometimes what you don’t say in your real estate listing can be as important as what you do. Your marketing will necessarily include all sorts of numerical info your agent enters for the regional MLS – but the main text itself is every bit as crucial. That paragraph has to be more than a summary of structure and land because it’s actually your most important ad. Your agent must accurately describe the home while simultaneously reaching out to appeal to the corps of potential buyers.
Certainly, the most glaring shortcomings will always sour a real estate listing (bad photos, misspellings, etc.). … (0 comments)
