Ever wonder WHERE the calls are coming From?
We all get many long distance calls each day, and most are telemarketers trying to drum up business. (Google promises, other web site promises, lead generators, etc.)
I get a bit curious as to where the calls are coming from, and years ago found a website with the area codes listed. Sometimes I Google the phone number, but cell numbers rarely come up with data, but companies do, especially those telemarketers.

long distance calls: Long Distance calling....is it Junk, or a Potential Client?

The economy has hit everyone, and we all get those unwanted sales calls daily. They are from lenders, SEO companies promising to get us all on Page One (never knew page one was THAT large...) and also from web site companies trying to get our business. So, when the cell rings, and caller ID says LONG DISTANCE, do you answer, or let it go to voice mail (IF they leave a message)? When I do get those "junk" calls, I usually save them in my phone as such, so next time I KNOW not to answer. … (34 comments)
