showing homes: Seller's Pets can Sure Make for Some Good Stories - 12/19/22 06:22 AM
I was talking with a buyer's agent the other day about some funny stories, and we both had the best stories to tell about Seller's pets.
I remember getting showing instructions to show a couple a few homes, and getting to the house they liked the best.   I told them, DO NOT go into the backyard, as if the boxer is in the yard, we are NOT to go out.   We had looked throughout the home, and peered out back, and saw no pup.    I cautiously walked onto the patio, made some noise, and no pup.    Then my clients slowed … (18 comments)

showing homes: Masks, Booties, Wipes and Showing Homes - 05/23/20 07:10 AM

I am not complaining, as we now are allowed to show homes!   BUT, it is a challenge, opening lockboxes with gloves, sanitizing wipes, along with the other stuff we carry.   I am happy when I see a place to set some things down prior to putting on the mask, gloves, and getting the wipe ready.

This past week, I was showing homes and had the mask on and off going in and out of homes.   Have to remove it once I leave a home, just can't breath.

showing homes: Ease of Showing Homes - 06/02/10 08:39 AM
Today, while setting showings, (there were only four) but two sellers wanted to change the time - because the time just didn't work for them!
Come on sellers --- do you want to sell?     When we list homes, we should always set expectations -- you could have a showing set with 2 day notice, or it could be 5 minutes, and they are sitting out front!     PLEASE try and let the buyers in!     If it is a short notice, just let the front desk know when they call, that there may be some things out of order....etc.   But, let the buyer in!
