springtime in denver: Sure Signs of Spring in Denver

We know we are in Springtime, one day it is 70, and the very next day we get snow. YEP, that is spring here in Denver. But, on the other hand, we are starting to see MINOR signs of spring with bulbs popping up.
I have a geranium with a new bloom (have kept them in the garage and bringing them out on days over 50 degrees), new daffodils, and tulips popping up!
The trees are a bit slower, and that is OK too. IF we should get another heavy wet snow, it would break the branches, so the trees can be slow!

Although snow is not exactly what we want to see in May, the 2" or so of water was needed. Our winter was so mild and hardly any snow.
I have many rose bushes in my front and back yard, and all were loaded with blooms. So nice to see they did not mind the snow.
We sure needed the moisture, and nice not to have to use the sprinklers!
