foreclosures danbury ct: What condition are bank owned properties in? - 02/12/14 02:38 AM
I have had clients ask me about foreclosures, as an option to explore when looking for homes in addition to traditional sales. Just like when you are looking for a home, you never know what you are going to find once  you physically show up at the house and get in.
I have seen some bank owned properties in all sorts of condition.  I had a client purchase a relatively new condo that was basically need a gut job (kitchen, baths, drywall and flooring).  I have had another client purchase a property that was a foreclosure where the big ticket items were … (1 comments)

foreclosures danbury ct: Yes, There are regular sellers in the Danbury,CT Area - 04/27/11 07:57 AM

Contrary to the national media, there are plenty of ‘normal sellers’, which are not short sales or foreclosures,  in the Danbury and Candlewood lake.
Here are current stats for homes on the market

.Information per CMLS 4/27/2011
Across the board, only about 9.5% of properties in the Danbury area are distress sales. This means there are some opportunities for investors, yet most buyers will be working with ‘regular’ home owners. Seller also need to keep in mind that their home may be competing against sellers that ‘have to sell’.

With the amount of short sales & foreclosures across the country & in the Greater Danbury Area, it is a good opportunity to pick up some real estate and rent out. Here is a website that I found that is very helpful, because it not only talks about cash flow, but also any change to net worth. This should be not taken as tax … (0 comments)
