Unless you are buying new construction in the Danbury area, the place you purchase and decide to call home is used. I know that sounds pretty bad, but it is the truth. As a real estate agent in the Danbury area, reviewing the results of a building inspection with a buyer or seller and negotiating sometimes can be one of my least favorite things.  Everything can be subjective.
For buyers, you should understand that most of the time you are buying a 'used home'. A building inspection should be used to identify things to identify things  are urgent matters that need to be fixed, potential safety issues down the road and learn how the systems of the house work. If there are serious issues with the house, I can understand why you can use that as a reason to walk away from the house.
