market report danbury ct: Danbury Condo Market, June 2010 Update - 06/07/10 09:51 AM
The condo market is averaging about 7 months of inventory as of the end of May.  That is an improvement of when inventory reached 14 months in January, but is up from 5.6 months supply in April. market report danbury ct: Real Estate Market, 2007-2009 - 01/06/10 08:19 AM
Real estate in the Danbury area is holding up much better than other parts of the country. For single families homes in towns around Candlewood Lake plus Bethel,  inventory is averaging  7.5 months at the end of December 2009. This is the lowest point it has been in  2 years.  It is also interesting to note that in January 2009, inventory did swell up to a monthly sales supply of listings for 26 months.  The median  sales price has only decreased 8.5% since December 2007, and prices have gone up for the last 3 months.
