The 4th Carlsbad Art Wall (CAW) mural of 2020, and the 26th overall, was recently painted by Matty Davis.
Davis lives in Aspen, CO but in the past was a practicing artist here in Carlsbad Village and was one of the early Artists in Residence at the well known New Village Arts Foundry gallery in the Village. Check out his Instagram site.

The newest Carlsbad Art Wall (CAW) was painted this past weekend, June 15 and 16 by Carlsbad artist, and founder of the CAW in 2015, Bryan Snyder.

@ToBeByTheSea and @Gentle_Giant_Illustrations assisted Bryan Snyder with his creation.
The mural was influenced by the Colors of Carlsbad, a partnership for the second year between Visit Carlsbad and the Pantone Color Institute, along with the marketing platform Fohr. The themes depicted in the mural beautifully reflect the Carlsbad lifestyle and our reputation as a travel destination.

The latest Carlsbad Art Wall was painted this past rainy weekend, January 12th and 13th - I sure felt sorry for the artist, but there were moments of no rain and the creation was mostly completed. She notes on her Facebook page she still has a few things to finish on her creation later this month due to the rainy weather, but it's striking nonetheless - I'll post an update when it's finally completed!

Here’s the Newest Carlsbad Art Wall Mural

The newest Carlsbad Art Wall was painted on October 12th, although I didn’t get around to grabbing a photo due to vacation travel and just being busy.
The latest wall mural is by muralist and Oceanside native, and now New York transplant, BB Bastidas (with help from his painting assistant named “Crab”) and it’s stunning…with amazing colors!

The latest Carlsbad Art Wall was painted a little over a week ago, on August 11th and 12th during another one of our recent heat waves, and enjoyed by our summer crowds.
The newest wall mural, “On the Rise but still Adrift,” is by artist, muralist and photographer Carly Ealey, who is based here in San Diego, and it’s stunning! The most recent mural prior to this was The Colors of Carlsbad mural, which really was special, and I was curious what would follow.

The Carlsbad Art Wall has a new mural, painted this past Friday and Saturday, March 24th and 25th. I wasn’t able to stop when driving by on Sunday but there was quite a crowd watching the mural unfold.
On the off chance you are not familiar with this changing wall art in the Village, you’ll find it on the east-facing wall at a popular Mexican Restaurant in Carlsbad Village on Carlsbad village Drive, Senor Grubby’s, just west of the train tracks.

The Carlsbad Art Wall now has a new mural, painted this past Friday and Saturday, January 19th and 20th. In case you are not familiar with this changing wall art, you’ll find it on the east-facing wall at Senor Grubby's, a popular Mexican Restaurant in Carlsbad Village on Carlsbad village Drive just west of the train tracks.

The Carlsbad Art Wall has a new mural, painted this past weekend, November 4 and 5. The new mural can be found on the east-facing wall at Senor Grubby's, a popular Mexican Restaurant in Carlsbad Village.
This colorful mural was painted by Teachr, a prolific street artist in Los Angeles who paints all sorts of things including electrical boxes and billboards with a focus on teaching about peace…not a bad theme at all!

The Carlsbad Art Wall is featuring a new mural painted about a month ago. The mural can be found on the east-facing wall at Senor Grubby's, a popular Mexican Restaurant in Carlsbad Village. The new mural is a collaboration with the founder, Bryan Snyder, and metal sculptor, Alex Gall, and was painted on August 12 and 13.
Bryan’s story around his vision for this mural, and its creation, makes for interesting reading.

New Mural at the Carlsbad Art Wall
The Carlsbad Art Wall, the brainchild of Carlsbad artist Bryan Snyder, has a new wall mural, just completed this past Saturday. I saw it just hours after it was finished but didn't have an opportunity to stop and take a photo until this morning when I was in the Village on some errands.
The Carlsbad Art Wall is on the East Wall of a popular Mexican restaurant in Carlsbad Village, Senor Grubby's.
This newest mural is by Sand One, a prolific and entrepeneurial Los Angeles wall muralist.

The Carlsbad Art Wall Has a New Mural
The Carlsbad Art Wall in Carlsbad Village is sporting a new mural, just completed over Easter Weekend. The newest mural is by Parisian artist Sebastien Walker - the first international artist to be featured on the wall - who was born and raised in Paris but moved to Los Angeles in 2007.
The Carlsbad Art Wall is really 2 attractions for the “price” of one – the Art Wall itself, with changing wall murals every few months by talented street artists AND Senor Grubby’s, a popular eatery pm in the Carlsbad dining scene since 2008.
