Summer is here and the 4th of July holiday is around the corner, with plenty of celebrations and fireworks in and around Carlsbad, along with private festivities, cookouts and picnics. There will be crowds at the beach and lots of friends and family gatherings.
It’s an odd holiday this year, with the 4th occurring in the middle of the week on Wednesday.
