It’s been a busy first quarter of 2016, with some notable shifts from the same period back in 2015. The 92009 area includes La Costa, Bressi Ranch and Rancho Carrillo, among other neighborhoods. Robertson Ranch in northeast Carlsbad, a master planned community, continues to make progress and the final 2 of 4 neighborhoods, The Terraces and The Bluffs, have now been announced. These 2 higher-end neighborhoods are gated, while the other 2 are not.
Model homes are not yet available but are well under construction, as is the widening of EL Camino Real, the main thoroughfare that passes by the main entrance to Robertson Ranch, a badly needed improvement due to the increased traffic we will have in the area.

Home buyers interested in single story homes for sale in Carlsbad have a number of options, even with the limited inventory – per the November 2015 Carlsbad market report there is less than 2 months of inventory. Budget, of course, is always an important factor.
Single story homes, especially new homes, are not always easy to find, and they make only about 20 - 25% of the typical inventory on the market at any given time.
