The 3rd Carlsbad Art Wall mural of 2023 was completed recently. And what a treat it is.
The artist was none other than the founder and curator of the #CarlsbadArtWall, Bryan Snyder. Bryan founded the art wall in 2015 in cooperation with the owner of Senor Grubby’s Mexican Restaurant in Carlsbad Village.
This is the 36th mural since the Carlsbad Art Wall was founded. There has been some amazing diversity, creativity and beauty over the years.
Bryan has collaborated with several of the Carlsbad Art Wall artists but this was his first solo opportunity to showcase (23 comments)
The latest Carlsbad Art Wall was painted a little over a week ago, on August 11th and 12th during another one of our recent heat waves, and enjoyed by our summer crowds.
The newest wall mural, “On the Rise but still Adrift,” is by artist, muralist and photographer Carly Ealey, who is based here in San Diego, and it’s stunning! The most recent mural prior to this was The Colors of Carlsbad mural, which really was special, and I was curious what would follow.

There is a new mural on the Carlsbad Art Wall, on the west wall at Senor Grubby's, a popular Mexican Restaurant in Carlsbad Village. The new mural, by Carlsbad muralist, Sean Dominguez, was finished this past weekend, despite the rain we had.
