Clouds to Grill By in Carlsbad
I have been a big fan of grilling outside for many years, especially in the summer months. Given the weather in New England I have to say I was more of a fair weather grill guy...none of that grilling in my parka and snow boots for me.
I've continue the tradition since moving to SoCal, and of course here with our weather I can grill out virtually every day of the year unless it's pouring rain...which is rare.
We have wonderful views of the canyon, looking to the south, behind our house and the sunlight when the sun … (14 comments)

Clouds in Carlsbad
Carlsbad is often sunny, but we get our share of cloudy days, where it's sometimes all gray and covered with marine layer, and other days where the blue sky is decorated with white clouds.
It was that kind of morning yesterday when we went for our beach walk to get rid of some of the calories consumed at our favotire breakfast place, Cafe Elysa. This was taken on the concrete path down on the beach looking up the bluff at the boardwalk and the sky above.
