Who hasn't lost out on a listing because another agent told the sellers they could get $X for their home, when none of the market data and conditions support that contention? We all know what happens then - the home sits there, month after month, with multiple price reductions. And no offers. And then it gets relisted with another agent. Carlsbad is blessed with 3 beautiful lagoons, for residents and visitors to enjoy. Significant efforts have been spent over the years to preserve these bodies of water and, in the case of the Batiquitos Lagoon in South Carlsbad, to create a wildlife preserve and walking trails.

San Marcos, in San Diego's North County, is located about 6 miles inland from the ocean, and about 30 miles from the downtown San Diego.
The community covers about 24 square miles and, as of the 2021 census, had about 95,000 residents. Census data also indicate a fairly diverse population.
San Marcos, because of its inland location, tends to offer a somewhat warmer climate than adjacent Carlsbad, although the west side of San Marcos gets some of the same coastal weather (marine layer, ocean breezes, cooler temperatures).
