Throwback Thursday: Rural Mailboxes in the Snow
We used to journey to the California desert cities regularly during the year, taking the trip through the mountains then down a long winding hills into Palm Desert.
We were there a number of years ago after New Year's (2013) and traveled through quite a bit of snow...not something we get here in Carlsbad although we can see snow covered mountains off in the distance.
This collection of rural mailboxes in the snow - a collection of more than 50 - was too good a photo opportunity to drive by.
