It seems the holiday shopping season comes earlier every year. We’ve already had a couple of Black Fridays at some of the stores, with the original Black Friday coming November 27, just 1 week from this coming Friday.
And that means the 11th annual Small Business Saturday in Carlsbad Village is close by, too.
The first Saturday after Thanksgiving has traditionally become an official day for supporting small businesses, and there will be plentiful opportunities at our Carlsbad Village merchants. Many residents, and visitors, likely support these small businesses already regularly!
I know I say this every year, but it’s true - it’s hard to believe the holiday shopping season is upon us!
Black Friday is coming on November 29, just 3 weeks from today, to be immediately followed by the annual Small Business Saturday in downtown Carlsbad Village.
Small Business Saturday is a national tradition, now in its 11th year, I believe, for raising awareness of small businesses and encouraging local support at our busiest shopping time of the year. No doubt this is something many area residents, and visitors, do every year, … (9 comments)
