Do you need something fun to do this weekend? Want to be at the beach?
The very popular Fiesta del Sol takes place this weekend, May 21 and May 22, in Solana Beach at Fletcher Cove just west of the downtown area and Coast Road.
The 37th annual Fiesta del Sol is one of the more popular outdoor festivals in our neck of the woods, with 50,000 expected.
And the location can’t be beat – the streets adjacent to the beach at Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach (see photo at right).
· Fabulous weather (but so often it’s that way here in Paradise) · Father’s Day – with special time with my wife and calls from both daughters · Petco Park downtown with the Padres · And a winning game against the Diamondbacks!

Folks seeking the best in Solana Beach coffee shops will find Zinc Café in Solana Beach CA to be a charming, comfortable place to hang out in the heart of the Cedros Design District. There are several tables and chairs indoors but the real treat is to enjoy your coffee while taking in the street scene on the brick patio under the trees, and the feel, IMO, is distinctly European.
