There’s some great news for those who have missed the weekly State Street Farmers’ Market in Carlsbad Village, closed since mid-March – they are re-opening TODAY in a limited fashion.
As one would expect, and hope for, they are creating a revised farmers’ market that will follow the standard CDO and CA guidelines during our Shelter-in-Place (SIP) order.

Our State Street Farmers Market is held every Wednesday in Carlsbad Village from 3 to 7 pm (until 6 in the darker winter months). We go fairly regularly for fresh produce but sometimes for prepared foods for dinner when we are feeling lazy.
They always have some sort of entertainment, and this mime was there about 3 years ago. Every now and then (I suspect when someone left a tip or stopped in front of him with a request) he would burst into a short interlude on his guitar, then go back to his motionless state. He … (16 comments)
