農曆八月十五的中秋節是一個慶祝豐收的傳統節日,廣為亞裔人士慶祝。今年的中秋節在陽曆九月十三日。有關團體於當晚準備了豐富的節目,豐盛的食物供唐人街各住戶與家人一同歡慶。
 
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional harvest celebration observed by many Asian cultures on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar (this year on September 13). Families gather together on this night to share an elaborate meal, and then go outside to view the full moon. The giving of mooncakes and the lighting of lanterns are prominent activities.

Join the pack on Saturday, January 19, at Island Club & Spa Kakaako from 2 to 3 p.m. Fitness experts will guide three 20 minute sessions on weight training, yoga, and Zumba for a $25 donation to the Society.
 
Plus, all participants will receive a complimentary one-week pass to Island Club and Spa Kaka‘ako’s gym just for helping out!
