Celebrate Ku’s bird and other Hawaiian seabirds and wildlife at this year’s Manu O Ku Festival. 
 
 
The highlight of the day will be a Wildlife Costume Contest for all ages. Come dressed up as your favorite wildlife species or character to show your support of wildlife conservation and preservation and win prizes.

Hawai'i has a very rich tradition of proverbs and poetical sayings and Kimo's Kalabash explores some of that wisdom.
 
The Hawaiian snow bird, is not some Oil-Sands Baroness or Canadian sipping Mai tai’s poolside at the Halekalani, sorry wrong species. The Kōlea or Pacific Golden Plover is a bird of an entirely different feather. Our Kōlea have just recently said Aloha ‘Oe and have departed on their long flight to cooler climes.
