schertz real estate: Having a bad day? Try this... - 09/20/10 07:23 AM
Having a bad day? Try this...
Last week we had our bi-weekly office meeting/brainstorming/support session.  The topic at hand was staying positive, focused, and motivated and getting geared up to finish 2010 with a bang!  There were lots of great ideas (some new and creative, some oldies but goodies) tossed around and shared.  Many of us who attended have already made some changes and kicked things up a notch!
We spent some time discussing how to stay positive and keep our spirits up when things aren't necessarily going our way.  We talked about positive self talk, goal setting and tracking our goals, staying active and … (6 comments)

I am on day 19 of my 30 day blog challenge....I am at a lake with some of the best people I know and I am worried about the fact that I must blog today.  Should I continue or should I give up?? schertz real estate: Lessons from Nanny McPhee - Yes, I'm Talking to You! - 09/04/10 06:05 AM
Lessons from Nanny McPhee - Yes, I'm Talking to You!

The story is about a mom with three kids who's husband is away fighting a war.  Her niece and nephew have to come stay with her, she is days from losing her farm and minutes from losing her mind.  In comes Nanny McPhee, she is a mixture of Mary Poppins and Maria (from Sound of … (1 comments)

schertz real estate: Social Media Live - Tips I learned from Jeff Turner - 09/02/10 12:13 PM
There are MANY folks out there who claim to be "social media guru's" unfortunately there are just a handful who walk to walk.  Jeff Turner, just happens to be one of the ones who definitely walks that walk.  Before this morning, I had heard lots of great stuff about him and I follow him on Twitter but I had never had the opportunity to have any personal and up close interaction with him.
Well, this morning, I had the GREAT pleasure of hearing him speak at an event put on by the PT50 group in San Antonio and later I got to have lunch … (8 comments)

schertz real estate: Is it the journey or the destination that matters? - 09/01/09 02:10 PM
"Success is a journey, not a destination."  Ben Sweetland
I took this picture on a particularly tough day. I was struggling to figure out how to run my business and create success for myself, getting used to being responsible for my own income.  Having gone from a salaried position to full time real estate was not easy. I had some personal struggles going on in my life at the time and had to fight every day to maintain a positive attitude. To top it off...it was the middle of winter and I desperately missed the sunshine and warm weather.

I am … (9 comments)

Happy Monday to all!  Many of you may have already hear about this website, but I was introduced to it by a friend a few months ago and it has really helped me with my organization and my motivation!  This website can be especially helpful to clients who are trying to live their lives while keeping their home "show ready".
The website is called Flylady and includes a flylady's 11 commandments, weekly cleaning zones (this week is the master bedroom), message boards, valuable information on nutrition, finances, and lots of other stuff.  I am not even going to try to claim that I … (6 comments)
