The government has passed a new law with regards to appraisal orders from mortgage companies. This change affects all mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers across the board.All mortgage companies and loan officers can no longer can place an order for an appraisal with a specific appraisal company. As of Friday, May 1st, 2009, all appraisers will be randomly selected, from an appraisal service, to perform the appraisal required for the purchase or refinance of a home.Our bank will be setting up a new department specifically designed to handle all our appraisal requests. This week Hundreds of Realtors gather from across the globe at the 2009 National Association of Realtors(NAR) Resort Symposium. It was held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, this annual networking event brought Realtors who specialize in the resort, vacation and second-home markets together for a unique educational and networking opportunity.
First symposium was in Los Cabos, Mexico in 2003. 2010 symposium will be help in Lake Tahoe.
