As many of you know, Google has made some changes just recently in the way things are searched and what can show up in your searches. At first when reviewing some of these changes, one might panic. I'll explain that in a few minutes. The bottom line is that on one side, you will need to be more social online. I don't consider myself the guru of social media networking or know all about the different marketing aspects of it, but I do think I have a good handle on it. What I don't understand and what irks the hell out of me, are those direct messages from those that you follow on Twitter. Espcially those that send you an auto direct message thanking you for following them, but they must validate you first. I will get there in a minute.

So what is Klout ?? The Klout Score is the measurement of your overall online influence. I am new to this system and not an expert, but I am starting to understand it gradually. Your Klout score can range from 1 to 100 and the higher scores just represent your sphere of influence online. Klout uses up to 35 different variables from Facebook and Twitter which measure your True Reach, Amplification Probability, and Network Score.

Networking, networking, and networking...... What does it all mean? In my opinion, you need to be open-minded about new ideas and attack them before everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. You also need to be consistent in who you network with on a weekly or monthly basis. Lastly, you need to have a few different outlets in regards to networking and not putting all of your eggs in one basket per se.
