Incredible news even for the economic times we are in.  This impacts people all across the United States, reaching even far into the Pacific Ocean on Maui (aka Paradise) in Wailea and Kihei.

Average interest on 30-year fixed mortgages fell this week to 4.32 percent, matching the lowest level on record. Interest on 15-year loans, meanwhile, declined to 3.75 percent, setting an all-time low. Following a sharp drop in the months immediate after expiration of the home buyer tax credit, pending home sales have modestly risen, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® says. The Pending Home Sales Index, a forward-looking indicator, rose 5.2 percent to 79.4 based on contracts signed in July from a downwardly revised 75.5 in June, but remains 19.1 percent below July 2009 when it was 98.1. Buyers-Investors:I have two listings in Wailea-Kihei area on Maui...one pending and the other is close to selling I can jsut feel it.  What do I mean I can "feel it"?  We have an influx of Canadians and summer has hit the mainland...so our tourism is up!
