There will be a job and skills fair this Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 10 am to 12:00 pm at Georgia Perimeter College in Clarkston. 555 North Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, Georgia 30021-2361 in Room N (the Living Room) College Center (on North Indian Creek, next to the GPC library) The Job and Skills fair is hosted by State Representatives Karla Drenner, Michele Henson and Stephanie Stuckey Benfield. The event includes a FREE continental breakfast.

The Decatur High School band is having a special evening of music and fun this Friday night November 21 at the Solarium in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, GA. It will be from 7 to 11 p.m.

Decatur's Annual Holiday Candlelight Tour of Homes is coming up. This year's tour features homes with the theme of "Living Green." Cabbagetown is a cool little neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia located south of Inman Park, east of Oakland Cemetery, north of Grant Park and west of Reynoldstown. Advance Voting is available in Dekalb County, GA. You don't need to have a reason to vote early, you can just do it with proper identification. UPDATE: I just did it Wednesday 10.29.08. Have you been to Fernbank Museum of Natural History's Martinis and Imax night yet? It is one of the great events to do here in Atlanta, GA. It's a great place, perfect for a date night or an evening out with friends. I love the architectural details in the building.
