Overcoming Tactical Addiction - ActiveRain Contest Entry.
Overcoming any addiction is tough.  I find it easier to "JUST SAY NO!" to everything.  Well, maybe not everything but certainly most things.  Especially those that make demands of my financial resources.
By the time you get your real estate license it doesn't take long to realize that there are no shortage of people trying to "sell" you. 
Websites, CRMs, leads, lead gen, marketing material, widgets, apps...

The best advice I received as a newbie agent came from my father.  No, dear ol' dad was not a real estate agent, he was an insurance agent.  He didn't give me real estate advice, he gave me BUSINESS ADVICE, watch your money and SAVE EVERY RECEIPT.
I want to talk to about the LEAST DISCUSSED ASPECT OF YOUR REAL ESTATE BUSINESS.

I hadn't really intended  to participate in this challenge.  This morning, I needed some advice.  Not for my business, but my husband's.  He's an MLO who is looking to grow his business. 
My husband, Rick, and I are partners.  Not business partners exactly.  But we certainly work closely with one another and collaborate constantly on marketing ideas, business growth and networking.
While we are both in the real estate industry, but there is a divide between real estate agent and mortgage loan officer, that divide necessitates different approaches.
