Here is some great news for residents of southern Monument and western Black Forest. The eastward extension of Baptist Road to the western portion of Hodgen Road is nearly complete, at this point a signs point to the end of July. This extension should make life easier for those that need to move east and west in that part of the county. This extension will pull a lot of traffic off of Stagecoach Road, great news for homeowners on that street.... continued … (2 comments)

The numbers are out for June and once again it's a good news and bad news for Monument. Overall we are still seeing well priced, well staged home sell quickly. The market is extremely price and value sensitive. Let's take a look at some of the bad news for the Monument/Tri-Lakes Area: 29% more new listings then a year ago 41% fewer sold 40% longer to sell 18% Fewer sales year to date This compares June of 2006 to June of 2007: Now because I am Pollyanna, here's the good news!
