Should give you something to think about when you do your flyers and your MLS listings. Watch your words. There are enough articles out there on the internet that make fun and say what the words "really mean" Here are some examples:
Cozy means dollhouse (tiny)
Convenient to shopping: Next to a strip mall.
Charming: Small.
Turnkey: Just overhauled, complete with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances.
Unique: Remodeled by someone on acid.
Handyman special: Bring boots.
Walk to Schools (insert your own word): Schools are 20 blocks away.
Motivated seller: They need to sell before they default on their mortgage.

I talked to someone from the Sandler Sales Institute this morning and I was amazed at the information that he gave me. I think everyone should live by this....
 Draw the face of an analog clock...
On the 12 hour, put the word Outlook There
On the 3 hour, put the word Judgment There
On the 6 hour, put the word Actions There
On the 9 hour, put the word Results There
Now draw an arrow from Outlook pointing to Judgment pointing to Actions pointing to Results

Hmm, this is tough when you don't take others' content or try to get other ideas from other people (which yes I confess I am guilty of).
I went to this great NetParty last week (any of you ever went?)
It's a great event in different parts of the country. It is pretty much business to business. I met maybe 5 real estate agents and maybe 2-3 loan officers. I primarily met accounting people, insurance people, engineers of all types, and some in human resources or corporate benefits. Have you had any luck with call capture systems?
 What is a call capture system?
A free 800# that is given to you with an extension that talks about the specific address and the features. If they want to speak to a real estate agent, it transfers to a real estate agent. If they want to speak to a loan officer, it transfers to a loan officer.
 
If I provide this service to you and you provide mortgage leads to me for free, would you be willing to sign up?
 
My biggest question is have you had any luck with it?
