I received a call from my broker today, telling me that the bank now owns '123 Main Street', which I have had listed for sale for four months. What? How can that be? I spoke to the seller less than a week ago. We discussed pricing changes and possible dates for an open house. There was never any mention of the impending foreclosure, although the seller surely knew about it.

realtor com: Is Realtor.com's pricing getting out of hand? - 07/23/07 11:22 AM
Earlier today, I got an email stating that my 'Premium' Realtor.com subscription was about to expire. I called to renew and much to my surprise, was told that it would cost over twice as much as last year, although I only have a few more listings this year than last. Apparently, I got pushed into a higher 'bracket'.
 I'm ok with that, but does it seem unreasonable that the next bracket up should cost over 100% more? It feels a little like a bait and switch.
