Brandywine Homes has begun construction of a new development in Garden Grove known as Century Village.
I previewed the model homes recently at their grand opening event. It’s a great new development in the heart of Garden Grove, located just steps away from Costco and Main Street. The new development features 3 different models, ranging from 3 to 4 bedrooms and all are 3 story plans. They range between 1,700 and 2,000 sqaure feet. I read an article in the OC Register this morning, an interview with Lawrence Yun, cheif economist for the National Association of Realtors. Read it here- ( http://lansner.freedomblogging.com/2010/01/16/realtor-economist-says-socal-now-sellers-market/52073/ )
Lawrence claims that our market has shifted to a sellers market. In reality, we have known this for some time, but it's great to see it in print. The exciting thing he points out is that "median home prices already have bottomed out in the Southern California market". We especially see this in Orange County. garden grove: HUD Eliminates 90 day flip rule beginning Feb 1. - 01/30/10 03:04 AM
Great News For some FHA Buyers
Starting Feb. 1, HUD will eliminate the 90 day flip rule, allowing more properties to be available for FHA financing.
