This week I showed a home in Somerset County, NJ. The buyer was previously interested in new(er) construction. The request to see this home was curious...had me wondering, "where are you going with this?"
Sprawling home built in the 60's and 70's....clearly expanded to accomodate a growing family.
Nothing made sense --- the flow, or why I was there in the first place.
And then it occured to me....

A week ago I watched our daughter run the New York City Marathon. This would be her third marathon and first time running the NYC event.
In one of many chats leading up to the event, I asked her what was the most important advice given and/or lesson learned that she was taking into the run. She did not hesitate in her response:
"If you stop, you are finished. Don't stop running no matter what!"

Hubby home at a descent hour (ie, before 9pm) so thought I'd try to make dinner ---- had what I had ingredient wise, combed the hard copy cookbooks and found no fit. Then went online, typed in what I had a as if by magic, up popped a recipe which I tried and it was delicious.
Another example of how the world has changed. I remember years ago when I began to dabble at Q&A and blog posts, an agent in my office saying "internet, splinter-net"...and I had a hunch she was wrong and I was closer to right.
