Inventory levels are low across all New Jersey markets and price points I service.  This is working to the favor of sellers and challenging buyers. As in other parts of the country, multiple offers are not uncommon on well priced homes that present themselves well.
All of my 2018 listings are sold and closed or pending.  I've got buyers who are eagerly watching for new inventory, just as I am to help them find a home.  With ready buyers, and all of my listings sold, I am looking for homes to sell!!

This week I showed a home in Somerset County, NJ.  The buyer was previously interested in new(er) construction. The request to see this home was curious...had me wondering, "where are you going with this?"
Sprawling home built in the 60's and 70's....clearly expanded to accomodate a growing family.  
Nothing made sense --- the flow, or why I was there in the first place.
And then it occured to me....
This time need not be wasted (after all it took me 45 minutes to drive there from my last appointment). Enjoy the moment. Try to imagine life in this sprawling home.

selling a home in nj: Don't stop no matter what! - 11/08/15 08:38 PM
A week ago I watched our daughter run the New York City Marathon.  This would be her third marathon and first time running the NYC event.  
In one of many chats leading up to the event, I asked her what was the most important advice given and/or lesson learned that she was taking into the run. She did not hesitate in her response:
"If you stop, you are finished.  Don't stop running no matter what!"
