hudson river sunset: Spechless Sunday - Unusual sunset - 09/20/15 04:57 PM

There is so much I love about this unsual sunset over the Hudson River, the dark clouds,  the contrasting colors over the mountain, as well as the reflection on the water.
Nature can certainly put on a showcase for us daily, and it is up to us to stop and enjoy such beauty.

hudson river sunset: A Hudson River Sunset on the Hudson waterfront - 11/21/13 02:54 PM

This was a glorious sunset I witnessed while standing on the Hudson waterfront.  Across from the waterfront is the town of Athens, and the summer there is a ferry running between these two towns since both are very popular with the weekenders.
The Hudson River towns are now paying more attention to their waterfront and residence are making use of such space for festivals, concerts and picnicking.
