This is definitely not an advertisement for Zircon water detectors. If you can find another brand that you like, by all means, but the important take away here is that water detectors in your home are invaluable. Make sure to find one with Wi-Fi capability. I'm actually thinking about adding a few in my rental property as a precaution. I experienced a water leak in a basement apartment recently and by the time we caught it, the new high-end laminate floor that we installed was literally floating on top of the water!
