Idyllwild California is a great little haven high atop the mountains over looking the Hemet and Temecula Valleys as well as the Palm Desert. This mountain community is home to many awesome things to visit, such as: AstroCamp, a fun and educational summer camp for ages 8 - 16 Animal Rescue Friends of Idyllwild, A nonprofit volunteer pet rescue that finds permanent homes for stray unwanted or abandoned animals. They also offer temporary foster homes, reunite lost and found pets, and provide medical care.
