The median price of an existing house in Lee County jumped to $117,100 in June, up 21 percent from $96,600 for the same month a year ago, according to figures released Wednesday by Florida Realtors. Condo prices also rose — up 13 percent to $149,100 in June from $131,400 a year ago. Being involved in your local community is very important when you have extra time on your hands. In this market we can sit idly by and wait for the market to turn or we can get involved in our Communities and our Associations. I have been involved for years with Kiwanis, Relay For Life and now on the Bonita Estero Association of Realtors (BEAR) Community Relations Committee as Chairperson.
