Summer 2015 Update for Cape Coral The quarterly newsletter from city hall, “On The Move”, was recently mailed to all residents and businesses in Cape Coral. The front page highlights the decision of the Florida Supreme Court ruling regarding the Fire Assessment. The Court ruled in favor of the city to collect the assessment. These monies will be used for paving roads, upgrading capital equipment, and reducing property taxes. The monies have been collected and held in escrow for two years pending the decision.
