In the year 2525.... 

Google has announced that there are robotic cars moseying down the streets in our neighborhoods. I wonder what took them so long. The United States has been flying robotic planes for many years now, such as this one:

That airplane is a Global Hawk that was on display at the MCAS Miramar Air Show last weekend. I have no idea who the people are. LOL
The Global Hawk was originally built as a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). It is now known as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Personally, I like Remotely Piloted Aircraft better. … (12 comments)

When you are at an air show, it's easy to get pictures of the planes far away. They seem to be just barely moving. Unfortunately, without something like a 1000mm lens, you won't see the airplane.
