realtor: Advice: *** Some Tips To Save Gas *** - 09/28/08 11:06 AM
Some tips to help you save on gas: Keep your tires inflated and balanced properly. This can increase fuel efficiency by up to 3%. Consider filling your tires with pure nitrogen. It could increase fuel efficiency between 2% and 15%. Change your oil every 3,000 miles. If oil is changed regularly, friction in your engine's moving parts is drastically reduced, resulting in better gas mileage. Avoid idling your vehicle, whenever possible. If stopping for more than a minute, it's probably best to turn the car off. Remove unnecessary items from the trunk. Don't carry any excess weight you don't need.

realtor: Living Green ****Help ! ~ Save The Trees !!! **** Going Green **** - 09/23/08 04:31 AM
Thinking of what you can do to help ** Save The Trees ** ?  We all receive a massive amount of junk mail, catalogs we don't want and other mail we simply have no interest in.  In order to stop all this waste and lighten our trash bags, simply call the senders and tell them to remove you from their mailing lists (unwanted catalogs, insurance & credit card offers, etc., etc.).  You'll never stop it all, but you can reduce it significantly.

realtor: Selling Your Home in Hagerstown, Maryland? *** Some Tips *** - 09/20/08 10:21 AM
To make your home more attractive to buyers, here's a few tips:
The front door - make sure it's in excellant condition; repair (paint) or replace if required. It's the first thing they'll see.
For homes without siding, be sure the paint is also in excellant condition.  Re-paint any areas of chipped or peeling paint.
The lawn - make sure the lawn and landscaping are looking their best.
These are very important to the prospective buyer - The First Impression is the key element.

realtor: First Time Home Buyer in Hagerstown ~ Washington County, Maryland? - 09/06/08 02:03 PM
First Time Home Buyer Advice:  Your first step is to find a Realtor.   He or She can help you with the whole process of buying a home.  They can help you get pre-qualified for a mortgage. Being pre-qualified helps you find what price range of homes you can purchase.
Once the price range of homes has been determined, a realtor can help you find the properties that meet your criteria.  Then you can start looking at houses that meet your needs (number of bedrooms and baths required, location desired, etc.).
Once you find a house that you really like, the realtor will take you through the negotiation process and help you get the best deal possible.  They … (0 comments)

realtor: Thinking Of Buying or Selling in Washington County, Maryland ??? - 08/11/08 02:18 PM
There are currently 1,448 active listings in Washington County.  In a good market, there are about 800.  It's all about supply and demand.  If you plan on selling your house, you need to be the "Best in the Neighborhood" or it simply will not sell - there's just too many to choose from.  It needs to be priced aggressively, and cannot have any obvious negatives; you'll need to find an honest Realtor - not one that will tell you what you want to hear, but someone that will look at your house objectfully and tell you truthfully what you need to do to … (0 comments)
