sfr: Short Sale Listing Prices are Irrelevant - 07/24/12 01:21 AM
As we all know, or should know, is that the banks will always counter the offer that is sent to them on a short sale. The initial selection of the winning offer (in California anyway) is done by the seller with or without the listing agent's blessings. Sure, some sellers will actually listen to their agent's recommendations during this very difficult period, however many don't. So the decision is up to the seller to choose, and is based on their lack of knowledge of the short sale system and their difficult current emotional state.

sfr: Lot's of changes; very few results. Where's NAR? - 09/12/11 03:42 AM
I have seen so many changes in all the parts of the real estate industry over the last several years. None, in my opinion, have had any significant impact on improving the real estate business. I have often cited the lending community for starting this fisaco and for extending it through slow processing of many consumer options. 
However this post is about the National Associaion of Realtors. We pay our National, State, and Local dues each year and what do we have to show for it? There is very little to no adertising done by the NAR. And there is nothing … (2 comments)
