At a recent meeting for The New Home Team, someone brought up the governor's race in our beautiful state of Washington. Two candidates, on the incumbent. The other, a real estate agent! Which one is going to be more freindly to housing, real estate agents, licensing, mortgage issues, and the like? Probably the real estate agent.... BUT, what if a person likes the incumbent more on a personal level. Do we have to put aside our personal beliefs and desires as to who we would like to see in office? I believe we do, sometimes. Today I was challenged to discount my commission. I recieved an e-mail from a seller, asking what I charge for a commission. She was looking for an agent who would take a low commission to come and sell her home today....
