I just received this from the National Association of REALTORS. Victory! Congress passes homebuyer tax credit. Thank you for your help in mobilizing your agents and making this happen! Please pass the message on to your agents and tell them that their participation made the difference. The Senat...
My local paper has a big article on the Senate passing the bill and sending it on to the house and then President.  It extends first time buyer credit through 30 April (for contract) and 30 June close.  It also expands to have up to $6500 credit for present homeowners who have owned the home for ...
We were just informed that the tax credit has been extended and expanded.  I am waiting for conformation from TAR or NAR on the details.
We are still hoping that the tax credit is extended and/or expanded.  Our lawmakers just need to act, the bills are there.  I will update this as soon as we know if it was extended and what the new one looks like.

I just wanted to take this time to let you know that the market in San Angelo is still good. Where ever you are, check out the local market. You don't check the national weather report to see if you need a jacket in San Angelo, you check the local conditions. Apply that to real estate as well. Check with a local professional.
