Although flood recovery is just beginning in the Greater Houston area, the economic effects of Hurricane Harvey are expected to linger for several months, according to a report from CBRE, a commercial real estate services and investment firm.

The credit-reporting company said hackers stole personal data — including Social Security numbers, names, addresses and dates of birth — from an estimated 143 million Americans.
The data breach is among the worst ever because of the amount of people affected and the sensitive type of information exposed.

After only two-and-a-half hours serving up pho on Monday, for example, Nam Eatery in the Heights was fresh out of food.
