Welcome to Streetsville, an established community which has managed to keep its "small town" charm by retaining a variety of historical buildings and streetscapes. It is located in the North Western section of Mississauga, along the banks of the Credit River. History of Streetsville: Streetsville is named after Timothy Street. In 1824 Mr. Street was given 1,000 acres of land as payment for his surveilance work. This new community developed 5 major mill sites along the banks of the Credit river.
