buy home arizona: Real Estate and Medical Terms can cause STRESS - 06/22/19 01:47 PM
I am a REALTOR® and I know that buying or selling a home can be stressful. Looking at the amortization schedule and interest paid over 30 years, other terms such as Inspection, Appraisal, Repossession, Delinquent, Credit Report, Taxes, and Mortgage Insurance, Deed, Hazard Insurance, Title Insurance, Mortgage Payments, Underwriter can all cause people to worry and lose sleep.

I saw this list of STRESSFUL Medical terms looking at another area of life. Sometimes the alternate phonetic meanings are more appealing and less likely to cause worry.

buy home arizona: How "slow can you go" to buy home? - 10/26/18 04:07 PM
During an open house near a main street, I noticed a man driving slowly past the house. This seemed normal as lookey loos often do this to look and write down the address. The man continued driving to the corner when he saw the flash of a traffic camera.

Have you noticed that Lookey Loos will drive by For Sale homes very slowly?

buy home arizona: AZ Homes- Mortgage Rates up to 4.58% Highest Since 2013 - 04/30/18 06:48 PM
Thinking now is the time to buy a home in Arizona? National mortgage rates, still low relatively, rose for the third consecutive week last week and are now at the highest level since 2013. Rates rose from 4.47% the week before. Interest rate movement is being affected by rising yields on US Treasury Bonds affected by rising commodity prices and boosting inflation expectations.
Loans are still being approved and Down Payment Assistance in Phoenix is available

Althought the higer rates cut into the affordability of a home, the 4.58% is still below 5% and still … (3 comments)

buy home arizona: What happened here? Does your home tell a story... - 04/16/18 07:26 AM
Every home tells a story of the past occupants, if you look hard enough. Sometimes we see the previous owner's childrens handprints in concrete, height measuring marks on the wall or an old toy that is dug up in a garden and so on. How about the old doggie door, treehouse, basketball hoop or 2007 Little League sticker on a window?

What went on there and why is it the way it is right now? In Arizona we have our Arizona ghost towns certainly. As a real estate broker in Arizona, I love old places and old things.
