Inflation this year is at historically high levels of 9.1%. You and I have certainly noticed that rent, mortgage and interest rates, food, gas, clothes are ALL going up and are expected to continue. What can one do about as a hedge against inflation? Well, stop renting and buy a home and lock in your monthly home payment through a 30 year mortgage. During that time your home will grow in value, you will build equity and have a locked in monthly payment.
